Sportsman 500 faster than a Warrior?

I should think i warrior would take a 500...I know mine will for sure...

I've outrun 2 non ho's so a warrior should kill it. They might beat me on top end but we never had enough room. But sportsmans are pretty inconsistent when it comes to speed, some faster than others.

95 Warrior,

I'm running the Pro-Design with the lid on because I run in a lot of sand.
Should I be running it with the lid off?
