3 different gases? I run mine off Argon. I also have a Miller 250. Remember, push instead of pull, and you will be laying the prettiest beads you've ever seen.

P.S.- Wire doesn't hold like stick.

Free spool Gun? cool. I also have a Millermatic 250 with a spool gun, from Ram in Ca. I use CO2 for steel, Argon for Aluminum. I have used the helium tri-mix for stainless, but not with this rig.
The Millermatic is a good machine for MIG mild steel. But for professional results in anything exotic you need better. There is a new Pulse millermatic for aluminum that looks really good for the money. And the Maxstar TIG setup is the up and comer for ChromeMoly. I don't know what the hot setup for Stainless is these days but it may also be one of these new inverter type welders. The real deal used to require 3-phase, but the inverter power supply may get around that. The Millermatic 250 splatters a lot with stainless.
.....Funny, Ride Blue, Weld Blue. Yamaha and Miller run the same color.
Go Blue!!
