Go to clear-guard.com...this guy offers different applications for a wide variety of quads. It is a clear plastic laminate that covers the high wear areas of your quad, however the Gizz application isn't complete yet. Currently they are looking into a new adhesive to keep the "side" pieces on, this is for the outermost edge of the Grizz fenders...they'll list it on there web site when it is complete.

showar94,
As long as it doesn't attach to the ends, the sections under the headlights...this is where they are weak. It took alot more to bend the bars on my Kodiak if I had to compare them.

i was power washing a new (less than 4hrs) muddy silver 660 and the paint began to delaminate from the black plastic in several places...yamaha definatively has a problem with the silver paint adhearing to the plastic...dealer says he'll replace the plastic with another color. it's a shame as the silver is a looker.

Silver is definitely badass, but not worth the frustration that yamaha is that stupid.

Camo would be nice for hiding scratches, but if it delaminates like the silver does it would look crappy with large pieces flaking off.
Sounds like the fiasco that Ford had with the paint peeling off the old pickups. Maybe Yamaha hired the painters that Ford fired.LOL.

YukonRon,
I haven't had any delaminating problems like what I am hearing about the silver paint on my Camo. I have been through some pretty bad stuff too, trees/bush's. I am happy with my CAMO. Looks good too.

Thanks Larry. I'm considering the camo so that's good to know.
Anyone else with camo Grizzlies?
