I just received a letter for my ATV insurance carrier that they no longer insure ATVs. My auto and homeowners carrier doesn't insure ATVs. Anyone know of a company, and their number that I can call?

Thanks.

I use atv-line.com and I pay $86 per year. You can go online and get a quote and then call and get it started.

Man $86 a year, it must be nice! Here in So Cal, the cheapest quote I've found so far is $929 a year through atv-line.com and thats with only liability and comprehensive with a 1k deductible. If I wanted the whole package, its like $1349 a year. I know I'm only 24 but I have a motorcycle license, completed a safety course, and have absolutely no marks on my record but I have to pay just about as much as I do for my 98 Ford pick up. Well it must be because soooooooooo many off-highway toys get stolen. Lets see paying $1349 a year, if both my truck and quad got stolen, at least I would get another truck and the payments paid would've been worth it, but for the Banshee, HELL NO!

I'd call whoever you have your car insurance through. They usually will insure it (and usually give you a multi-policy discount too). I currently have my atv insurance through progressive.

I have my Raptor insured through Progressive.com at $240 a yr. with full coverage and $250 deductible, but have recently received a quote from Markel Insurane(atv-ine.com) for $167 with $255 deductible. Both will let you pay it out, also. Markel's phone number is 1-800-236-2453. Progressive's web address is progressive.com and you can get a quote online. My home owners and auto carriers wanted close to $900 and $700.

Has anyone tried to collect from ATVlinE insurance? Their prices look great but it wouldn't be if they don't want to pay on their claims. So if anyone knows if these guys are reputable or have had any experiences with them I would like to know. Thanks in advance!

Last time I checked, Atv-line doesn't insure ATVs in Ohio. Alot of the prices you guys are posting are pretty cheap comparitively. I pay about $1200/year for insurance (thats mainly because my driving record isn't too great, and I'm only 21). I also have full coverage with a $100 deducatable on my Raptor.
