I'm a friend of URPREY. His car did that time rather easily. And he babies his car. It could run faster if he really got into it. My 2001 Z28 automatic just ran 12.32 at 110 two weeks ago. It has a converter, cold air, and headers. Totally stock motor. No NOS, turbo, or blower.

FWIW, I can provide you with my dyno sheets. They were : 309rwhp, 322 rwtq. That's about 370 hp at the flywheel

Somebody say horsepower? How's 580 at the rears for my '92 Mustang?

Everything! LOL! 383 stroker, Canfield heads (Ported), TFR "R" 351 intake, S-Trim, custom cam, 1 3/4" LTs, 3" exhaust, Tremec 3550, and a million other things... It also has AC, PS, stero system, and rides on 17" rims and 4 wheel disk brakes Not a strip car, just a Saturday night bruiser... Wazzup, Biggy!

Just wanted to let you know that the video posted by Preyboy there had him racing MY white car. Also, a stock '99 TA. And, while I don't want to ram the concept of a sub-14 second F-Body down your throat anymore than it already is, I just want to point out that this particular video is one of the VERY few that shows Prey here actually beating me. I most usually nail him to the tree. In fact, about 3 weeks ago I posed a new best of 13.165 @ 105.87 in the same car. Prey turned out late that day, and only got in one run, but it was 13.2 or 3, can't remember, arguably not very low into the 13's, but still there . This happens to be one of his favorite videos since it shows him beating me. But I had to come on here and defend my honor and all.

<< lmaoooo first let me tell you there is no way in gods green earth a stock firehawk is any were neer 13s even with nos it would not run 13 .....you need to be upwards of 400hp to get in the 13s >>

Wow, someone so seriously misinformed...

My 1994 Camaro ran 12.80 and on a Mustang Chassis dyno it had a peak of 270hp at the tires. The hp numbers may be a bit low, since the dyno doesn't allow the car to take advantage of the ram air effect afforded by running down the strip.

Also, my stock 1999 Camaro runs 13.30 and it is bone stock the way the factory shipped it. They rate it at 330hp frmo the factory.

My brothers '83 mustang runs 11.14 in the quarter mile at 124 mph. Hes got a biult 351 in it or something (i dont know what he has done to it). He has et street slicks on it and still cant hook up very good so it will do better next season when he gets some real slicks.

I guess Biggy decided he was much more knowledgable with ATVs than cars, since he hasn't yet responded. Thanks to everyone else for their responses

biggy, you dont need anywhere near 400hp to run 13's. my dad and i build drag cars, mostly mustangs, and his pushes about 300hp and he's running 12.8's. mine pushes 350 and runs 12.6's with me driving. it's a matter of whether or not you get the power to the ground (control arms, rear end, clutches, shifters, tires, subframe connectors, cages, and mainly, the driver) it's not all the motor... my tecate gives my dad's stang a good challenge in the 8th mile, but in the 1/4, he blows me away. no way a raptor will outrun even a stock mustang in the quarter. maybe a good run in the 1/8. this is asuming that the stang is a v8
