Hey guys I just found out that the car is one of those pu**y Mustangs with a auto tranny and V6. I guess that and she can't drive for crap explains for her losing.

 

My 2000 Camaro SS ran a 13.40 @ 106mph bone stock. And that was on worn out factory tires w/ 30 psi. Who ever said a firehawk wouldnt run 13's is a crackhead.

Oh well, at least it looks pretty.

I still would have thought that the Mustang would have won (before checking the actual 1/4 mile time of a v6 auto stang: about 17 seconds). When I raced my buddy with my Taurus against his Banshee I got a terrible start and spun through first and a lot of second gear, but still managed to win fairly easy. My Taurus runs at about 14.8-14.9 seconds in the 1/4, and in that race I wouldn't be suprised if I was near the high 16's (I don't know cause we didn't time it).

Man those Mustangs must be unbelievably slow.

Wow this was a interesting post.
I do some runs at the las vegas speedway. When a quad shows up it's always a shocker to see the same results.
I will say Every time the quads got the jump and spanked upto about 1/8 mile,
Or when the quad hit top speed.
85% of the cars got faster top speed and better 1/4 miles.

I also have the clips of banshee vs mustang, snowmobile vs firehawk.
400ex vs 400ex, viper vs snowmobile.
I hafta check to see what others.

I will say thats my best time so far.
On average i'm in 10.5 - 10.7 range.
I gotta work on my reaction time, And keeping the front wheels on the ground or at least a controllable height.
