I have owned Bearclaws and they were VERY good tires.

Look at the Titan 589 (looks better than the ITP) and the Goodyear Mudrunner.

Thank you to everyone for all the input!,

While I'm still open to some mods for the Grizz, I am going to put the reverse limter bypass on this weekend. As for tires, I think I'll end up going with the bi/tri claws, now who knows the best place to buy these bad boys for the best price. Yesterday when I took my grizz in for the 100 mile change, I checked prices at the dealer and they were $138.00/each. Anyone know of a better price for these buggers or is this the going rate, and where to get them if there is a better price out there?

On another topic, has anyone used the K&N filters on the Grizz, do they make a difference, are they worth it, or is there a down side such as not filtering down enough for adequate protection. (there has to be a trade off somewhere for better breathing) I put a K&N on my cummins diesel and was very impressed with the difference, however I don't ususally take my truck into mud bogs or bury it in water. <G>

go to www.rockymountainatv.com for the best prices, then take it to your local shop and ask them to match or beat it. I did that on my warrior so i didn't have to pay for shipping. I will do the same for the grizz. and I am also ordering the k&n from them too, i have one on the warrior and it works great. thanks for the tire sizes, i think i am going for the wider 26's

Showar94,

Thanks for the info, I just requested a quote from them... I also got prices from C & R offroad http://www.croffroad.com, their prices for the Mud Mahine Magnum Bi Claw 27 X 9.5 X 12 = $81.95 / each & the 27 x 12 x 12 Tri claw rears are $87.95 / each. I thought that was a heck of a lot better that the $139.00/each from the dealer. I am curious to see what they'll do when I bring in this quote.
