I have been running a Curtis Sparks Racing pipe with a Supertrapp silencer on my 97 warrior almost from the first day & like it very much, but since he is a one man shop & very much into building racing engines, the delivery time is quite extended. I would look seriously at the new DMC (Dave Miller Concept) system. Altho priced towards the high end, the specs appear to be impressive & worth the money. I'm sure you realize that any significant improvement in performance will result in an increase in decibels, but the DMC offers a variety of combos to give you a fair trade-off in that area. Check out the Feb. issue of Dirt Wheels for an informative test of this system on a 400Ex.
P.S. Unfortunately, I'm not related to this Miller.

I have been considering replaceing my old suppertrap with a BIG GUN pipe & silencer. It is a torque pipe, and a little on the loud side. Annyone have one of these??????
In the tech connection, on the main page, It is recomended for woods and hill climbing on a 400EX.
Also check out WWW.geocities.com/~gtthunder/testbed_set.html
They have a pipe shootout unfortunatly on a 400EX. But, E-mail them for some WARRIOR pipe dynos, and they might post some.

I have the E-Series on my '00 Warrior--it comes with 12 discs (4 is the min and 20 is max). With only 4 it's close to stock as far as loudness, but when running 7 discs it's pretty loud (quite a bit louder than stock), and at 12 you can be heard a mile away. I'd hate to hear it when running all 20 discs! Personally I think it's a good pipe as you can add/remove discs depending on where you want the power increase, as well as loudness. I wouldn't rate it any better than any of the other pipes out there though, and for me it was a toss-up between it and the FMF Megamax II...I just preferred its "look" over anything else.
