Suspension question for 02 Grizz owners...
#1
Has any one tested the suspension articulation of the Grizz? (I already know the travel specs; 9.5" rear & 7.1" front) I'm going to do the car ramp test on my grizz, and it seems to me I've read the if you remove the sway bar from the grizz, it will allow your IRS to articulate more.
Has anyone done this? If so, were there any drawbacks to removing the sway bar, such as body lean, etc. Does anyone ride their '02 Grizz without the swaybar full time and if so, how do you like it?
Reason I'm looking into this, Rides4fun bought the new AC500I, and has some pics of his suspension flexing with the car ramps. The articulation on that machine is simply awesome, but I didn't (couldn't) see any sway bars on it, so wondered if a lack of sway bars allowed better articulation. Anyways, it's certainly worth a trip to the AC forum and take a look at the thread title 500I Flex Pics. Amazing.
Just curious...
