Blaster V.S. Warrior
#3
For woods the blasters suspention isn't the greatest .. (well neither is the warrior's). In trails it pretty much all up to the rider .. on stright aways he will just barley beat you.
After reading your other post .. well if you get those planned mods you should be able to beat him.

I have a 97 Blaster with the FMF pipe/silencer and K&N filter. It wont come anywhere near beating the Warrior in a drag race. However my Warrior also has an FMF pipe as well as an aftermarket carb. I imagine it would require a few hundred dollars worth of motor work, a mid bore kit, milled head, and maybe porting to make the blaster faster. You'd be better off buying a steering damper and aftermarket tires. Then you could ride faster on the tight trails and it would be the warrior trying to keep up. You could do those simple handling mods for about $220 and you'll never regret it.

Also realize, it's a game as to whose the fastest. As soon as you get a pipe, so will your friends. Then you're back to square one. Trust me, the blaster really needs a steering dampner! The pipe does add alot of pep tho.
