When I went looking for tires, it was more towards the "excavation" style.
So I didn't spend a lot of time on tread patterns that weren't very agressive. Perhaps Titan 489's? They are a very good trail riding tire, you shouldn't notice any loss on speed with them, they have respectable tread, but not super agressive like the Bi/Tri claws I purchased.

I never saw the Vampire tires. I have a denis kirk magazine that i was looking at for ideas. i was thinking something like the Blackwater xt magnum set, or the ITP 589, gators, something like that. Is denis kirk the cheapest i heard that it was, ant good web sites. Also some more on the tealer locations would be nice.

I think the Vamps are awesome tires. They are best suited for mud, though, I don't think they would provide you with a very pleasant ride in any other condition. Mind you I don't know this from experience, but just from reviews that I've read.

If you want excellent prices on ATV tires, I would suggest that you pay a visit to East Kentucky Motorsports. I've bought a big wheel set, a complete tire set, and will be purchasing another big wheel set next month from them. Their shipping is excellent, prices unbeatable, (and I really looked around) and their service great. Ask for John. Their web address is: http://www.4atvtires.com
Check them out. I did, and was real happy.

I went to Dennis Kirk when I was shopping around and was dissapointed with their web site. I couldn't web order my ITP magnum billett aluminum rims because I couldn't find any description which would assure that was what I was ordering, and they don't sell Mud Machines 27" Bi and Tri Claws, which was/is my tire of choice for my type of riding. I do like the idea of free shipping though....hard to beat that.
