When my banshee was stock, a friend had a trinity 240 ported blaster with fmf pipe, and it wasn't far behind me. but on the hillclimbs it just didnt even come close. i couldnt believe how fast it was though. i rode it and could hardly keep the front wheels on the ground.

I have installed more than a few 240 and 250 kits in the blasters.
The porting seems to take from the lower end, but you combat that with higher compression.
Both kits were about $500, and they seem pretty reliable to me, although one of them has a heck of a time keeping head gaskets, but I didn't braek in this one, wich I usualy braek in all of them.
They realy fly, you'll never see the front end on the ground any more, they make some power.
The best I've seen them run is were they realy pay attention to building the bottom end, those ones realy run good and smooth. The guys who pay atention to mid thru top end, they realy destroy the bottom and the power band hit is pretty high up thier, and those ones realy don't work out to well for me, but I say the same about the banshee's and many tend to disagree with me.
But to answer your question, they're very good kits

I have the 240 kit and this thing flat out jams. I installed all of the parts my self. It said in the instructions to rechamber the head which I didn't do untill I started shaving some of the head off, my compression right now is 270psi. No, I am not lying and the compression being so high I have to run race gas. The one thing that I need to do is to lenthen the swing arm and take the front sproket to a 14 tooth. The only real problem that I have is that sometimes it will get really hot and get lean.

I'd go with the 240 becuase it got quite a lot more reliability then a 260. I heard that blasters with the 240 will beat the 250R but I've never seen it in one so I can't say for sure. Also the fact that I've never heard of a 260 kit

I know thiers a 265 kit, and I believe it's CT or trinity who had 310 kits, and I was told in a chat room thier was a 330 kit, but I went to the site and only found the 310 kit.
The 240 and 250 kits require other mods to get the best out of them, but Alot of them I know do the mods after the kit

get either the 240 or 250, they both put out the same power and don't demand the auxillary mods up front like the 265,290, or 310 kits do.
It will absolutely scream and you will love it. The reliability is quite good if they are broke in rite.
A forged after market piston should take nearly three times the braek in period as a cast stock piston.
I think TC has a post on thier web site on the correct way to braek in a big bore. If not let me know and I'll email you an excellent sure way to braek in a big bore.
