my nova is a low buck(compared to some) car. it's a 400 small block with good heads(sportsman II's) little porting, right cam, geared only 3.73,3000 stall, its a simple cheap combo it works.... it it might be 400hp? but right at it, its sure torquey,,, I saw a crate engine shootout awile back in car craft mopar(duster)ford(mustang)chevy(camaro) all had crate engines the chevy had the 350 zz engine that put out355hp, they got 12.80's out of it that car was 3300lb, just had the right combo, ive seen plenty of cars that had tons of $$ in the motor, couldnt get down the track(wrong combo) but hey lets end this thread its going off of atv's a bit,, sharkfin
