welding Banshee crank, is it really needed

After my first rebuild, I wanted some porting done so I had mine welded. As far as Im concerned, its cheap insurance. With it welded, you know you wont have problems.. My buddies crank got all jacked up with pipes and some mild porting.

Yes I doing mine this winter it's alot cheaper it do it now then rebuild it later when the crank blows and takes the rest of the motor and case with it! Everybody that wants more mods than pipes should weld it to be safe.
