My mom has a computer and wants to have her email (outlook express) to have a password on it, that way nobody else can get into it. Is there a program that allows you to choose the programs you want to have passwords on and the ones you dont ? I have looked all over on the internet and couldnt find anything. I downloaded some program but it was useless. If anybody can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Tools menu. Then select accounts from the drop down. Then, select her mail account by highlighting it and hitting the Properties button. Then, select the Servers option. You will see her account name and password.

Follow NotuRaptor's suggestion to get to the properties page. Then uncheck the remember password box. Your mom will then have to enter her password in order to open the mailbox.

If everyone already knows your mom's password, then she should be able to log onto your ISP's website and change the eMail account's password.
