I have a deposit on a new Grizz and am a little concerned over some of the reports I have read about the "top heavy" handling. Does this quad handle worse than most? I am switching over to IRS to get a better ride, but I don't want to end up with an unstable machine. I have ridden a Polaris and did notice more body roll, but it was no big deal. Has anyone used wheel spacers for more stability? Or is it really fine just the way it is?

plattj1,
Buy it...you won't regret it! We've had ours since late September and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, the handling is great, but it is softer in the hard turns compared to a solid axle. This is a minor trade off for IRS, however the advantages of IRS made it a no brainer decision for us. As for hard cornering, you'll compensate for this very very quickly, that plus the power helps you snap this quad around fast.
There have been some complaints about water causing it to sputter, gas boiling in the carb, front diff. bearing failing but we have not experienced any of this. These complaints I believe to be isolated to "some" quads, then again, I don't know of any quad that's perfect. Ours has performed flawlessly. One more thing, from what I've heard, the Kawi 650 and the Polaris 700 are great quads as well...hope this helps!
