First of all the Spark's 690 is a 686, nothing different than the JE 102mm@10.75:1. They just like the way 690 sounds rather than 686(that was what they told me on the phone). Obviously you can make the 686 faster than the 720 with carbs/cam/port work/alcohol/etc. But all being equal, its a no brainer the 720 will always be faster.

Let me fill in some gaps here,the other 690 that was at DUMONT was ported by the owner NOT by curtis it was also ***. by the owner.As for the exotic fuel well all just take that as a complament to how good are raptor ran.I will race you or who ever with the gas that they supply.You also say that there is know diffrents in cams or porting you have obveusly not spent much time with a flow bench!As far as set-up every bike that I saw at glamis had the wrong tires (including are raptor) in hill racing set-up is very much apart of the package.King I mean no dis-respect you were very friendly and seem quit knowledgable and did a good job on putting together the race,can't wait tell next year!As far as next year goes both barrels will be loaded,the gears are already turning!Lyle

My turn from 2000 miles away, Raptor720 by 6 quad lenghts. That extra 30 cc comes in handy. Both shops are known to produce top notch work. I would think who ever really wanted to win would. The real test would be 4 or 5 drags followed by 20 minutes of dune riding. That would cut down on setting up for drag only. Trinity is working on my motor now. I can't wait to ride it. The big picture- raptors lose by 10 lengths to knutz's 760. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]lol

Hey Ward, Don't sweat it man, Their are people in the Central Region like 14min,hurycne,Jbomb,And others that are slowly but surely Getting fast four strokes. And at the rate were growing it won't be long before we have a "BIG" event for four strokes at Little Sahara Okla.
And lets not forget about ScoobyDFW, he may have the fastest fourstroke of them all,BUT he's going to have to take that title from the Western boys first.
I know the LS is still a "haul" for you, but its definately closer than CALLY.
