Does anyone know if warrior have a knock that comes from the engine. It isn't very loud but it seems like there is always a clicking or knocking coming from the engine.

Timing chain? Warriors dont have self adjusting chains (as fars as i know)

the cam chain has a self adjuster on it.


I would check the valve clearance. But they are noisy from the get go.

I know every warrior Ive heard, including mine, makes a ticking/knocking sound that I'm told is normal

Mine's brand new and it ticks and clacks just like all the other Warriors. It's normal for that engine, so just keep the valve clearance adjusted and drive 'er.
