Big Bore Stroker Banshee motors...I need advice quick!!
#1
I have my Banshee engine all torn apart for a rebuild/new crank. I am debating on what to do as far as either keeping it stock displacement or going big. I am worried about the reliability aspect of going with a stroker, as well as "value" with respect to results gained as opposed to money spent. Are these modified motors reliable? Who is the authority on stroker Banshees? Does parts availability become a problem when it comes time for a rebuild? Do these things turn into a relative "hand grenade" when so modified? I just need some advice before I drop down big bucks. It's a hard decision! All views and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

K&T here in Utah is an extemely good builder. He usually wins King of the Hill here. Kim or Randy Munchmoore. They don't have a website, but you can go through www.hscustoms.com You won't be sorry! He will build it exactly the way you want it.

Go with LRD, they seem to be a cut above the rest. Only one person does all of their porting so you know it's consistent. One thing they stress more than other buildrs is torque, not peak horsepower, that is important as anybody can build a lightswitch (TZ 250 roadracers are in the 80 hp range, but don't make any power below 9,000 RPM). When I get my banshee, I'm definately going with them.
