Thanks Rimerman. That was quite a discussion. Depending who's point of view on takes, the Beartracker will do most everything, or nothing at all. Thanks again.

Krawdaddy. Thanks again for your info. Sounds like the machines took quite a lot of hard work before they gave up. My buddy will be glad to hear it. I would have thought that a trailer that size would have been OK, but with a heavy load and lots of mud to go through, that must have made your Beartrackers quit.

You're welcome Hunter.

I still have the BearTracker and still ride it often. The brakes finally wore out and need to be replaced this weekend. This is the first major maintainance I have had to do in a year and a half of regular riding.

Sounds like your Beartracker is treating you OK Rimerman. By the way, do you know if any other Utility Quad wheels will fit the Beartracker? I was wondering if the Tracker would accept 25" wheels to replace the stock 22" ones. There's lots of the 25" kicking around here, and if it works, would be a good, simple way of increasing ground clearance.

Sorry Hunter but I don't know about other size wheels. I still have stocks on mine - so does my friend.

I had this machine for 3 years, and i love it (for a small size machine of coarse) It was one of my first machines so i beat the pis$ out of it, ans it has still never given me any problems.

Yes I think the beartracker is a great mechine. I bought mine in 2000 and i havent had any problems except for when i got in alittle accident with and blaster. It was a head on on a blind turn, and once her 4 wheeler hit mine i went sailin thoguh the air and her 4 wheeler then hi my back tire which bent the axle. Right after the accident I towedthe girls blaster homefor her, then once i got home i order ad new axle because there was alittle wabble to the wheel. One thing you might want to do it get some new rubber on it because i wore my tires off in a half a summer. If i had better tires i probably could have avoided the accident but i just slid out the rear end. Now i have 489 titans on the back the are great they do better than my friends dirt devils (he also has a beartracker). Also i have moose shock covers ahand gaurds and a moose air filter. That filter give you better lowend. I should have gotten the K&N though it probably would have given more. Also i might be getting the megamaxII pipe for it off my friend. Well hope this helps you.

Thanks Lsnake & Dogster. I'll pass on the tip on the K & N filter to my buddy. Dogster, are your 489's the stock size? Lsnake, I see even though you got a Quadrunner 500 4X4, you still kept your Beartracker. Sounds like a testament on it's durability. What kind of top speed are you able to get out of your Beartrackers? After reading all the posative responses about the Beartracker, I'm considering getting one for my girlfriend. She only weights 110 lbs. so I think the Tracker would have enough power to take her anywhere.
Does anyone have a winch on their Tracker, or is it really unnecessary because of the Tracker's light weight?
Thanks again for all the info.

The 489's I put on my tracker were and inch wider 22x11x10. The ride is alittle rough at first because of the deep tread but you get use to it quickly. My frind put dirt devils all the way around and because of the tread it gave him a little more ground clearence, but i still make it though more mud with mine. And i am about 6'2 and 170lbs. and i can get my tracker goin almost 50mph. I wish i could get some more speed out of it. I have beaten an '00 Arctic Cat 3004x4 ,'85 fourtrax 250,'00 Honda recon. I think on the recon and the fourtrax it might have been the rider but it was close. Cuz i have a 85 fourtrax 250 also and that smokes my tracker.
