What condition are your brake pads in? If they are worn to the metal, you will get little to no braking action.

When you bleed your brakes, make sure the fluid reservior is full, then pump the brake handle a couple of times and hold the handle down while loosening the bleed screw on the caliper. You should get fluid from the bleed screw when opened. Do not let loose of the brake lever until you have tightened the bleed screw back. Once you get to the point of solid fluid expulsion (no air), bleed the other caliper. If you are not getting fluid to the calipers, start the bleeding process at the line connection to the master cylinder in the same manner that you bleed the calipers and work your way down to splitter then the calipers. If you are not getting fluid explusion at the master cylinder, it probably needs a kit.

i have the brakes off the mount because i needed new wheel bearings but i have new pads ready to be installed. i have bled the brakes many times and they seem to be fluid coming out. what other problems could be wrong?? the lever just touches the grip with no braking
