Does anybody know a source for the rings that weld on to the lip of aluminum wheels to help strengthen them - or a source for wheels that already have them welded on. They look like bead-locks but they are just for added strength against bending the edges of the wheel.

the company is OMF. there ad is in dirt wheel mag. they don't have a web site so call them up. i just ordered a set of reinforcement rings for the front on my douglas 190 wheels. you can buy the wheels with the rings already welded in or do it yourself. they won't fit the stock wheels though. also magic racing sells the wheels already done.

I have a set of ITP race rims that I got directly from ITP. They are expensive though I think mine were like 90 something each. But they are 10 in inner and outer ringed.

I have a set of non-polished 10" ITP's (front) and I called OMF(Cal.) just the other day. They said $24.00 each, inner or outer. From what I can tell, the inner would have to be 3/4" wide to work on my Raptor. They said they would fit. Magic Racing said $65.00 for the set. I could see this making a expensive rim, but the perfect set for the woods. I had these rims given to me, but I'm going to look into getting some cut from 3/16" alum. on the plasma cutter at work. Free is always better!
