I got a white bros. cam and piston to put in my 98 warrior. The book tells you to torqe the cam gear bolt, (that's the one that holds on the gear that treads into the cam and the timing chain goes over)to 60 inch pounds. That is pretty lose, I thought. But that's what the yamaha book said so I did. with in 5 min of brake in it came lose and tore the cam key out and tore the end of the cam.
I know tons of people have put pistons and a white bros. cam in a warrior. What did you torqe it to???? I am sending it back but I don't know what they will do. I'm probably screwed, but I hope they will back up thier product. Anyway I have to get the metal that fell down into the trans. now I suppose (great).
So what have you people done? and how did it turn out????
