DOES ANYONE HAVE A CROME HEADER? MINE IS A WHITE BROS AND IT CANT SEEM TO HOLD CHROME....I HAVE SINCE HEARD THAT THE WHITE BROS GETS TO HOT AND IT FLAKES THE CHROME RIGHT OFF...NOW I NEED TO FORGET IT OR GET A DIFFERENT BRAND HEADER?????

 

I have been told that you can get process called "Jet Cooled", or something like that, and this will allow you to chrome the header pipe and eliminate flaking from heat. If anyone else has any info. on this process or what it is really called, where to get it, etc., then please fill in the blanks.

 

Go to jet-hot.com They do ceramic coating.

 

Try painting the inside of the pipe with hi-temp engine paint......maybe that'll help.........

Couldn't sleep, sucked! Would the internal painting work? Would this cause any negative affects on performance? The process that I was told about is internal as well.

 

I CALLED THE GUYS AT JET HOT...THEY ARE HERE IN TEMPE...THEY SAID IT WOULD LOOK LIKE A CROSS OF CHROME AND POLISHED STEEL...I WILL GO IN AND LOOK AT A DEMO NEXT WEEK
