Ya i have had the same problem with mine every noe and then right now my problem is that it kills it self after you have been riding in 3rd gear or high at 1/2 throttle or higher. if any of you have the same problem and have fixed let me know what you did. try lowering the needle clip on the needle jet or raising it or your idle might be screwed up, there is an idle adjustment screw on the carb. these are just my suggestions though. dont knwo if they will work but they are a try.

sounds like you could have some trash in the idle circuit, spray a good carb. cleaner in the intake while running until the atv cuts off, let it sit for several hrs. hope this helps.

I also have an idleing problem w/ my 99' timberwolf. I can ride it for an hour and it will still cut off after a while. I take it to my dealership and when they adjust the valves it seems to help it for a couple months. Sean Sicher

Unless you upped the main jet a little it will be running extra lean with an aftermarket filter. The cutting out sounds like a CDI box or just a plain good ole' carb needing cleaning.
