got 27" on mine, havent noticed any loss on the bottom end, and about 2 mph loss on top end. 61 mph on level ground, 63 mph with stock tires. my tires are mud bugs lightest tire on the market, with stock rims.for now.

Grizster~

Personally, I'd go with the 27" tires. You can always make up the couple mph on top end with mods, if you feel the need.

the width of my tires measure exactly as advertised 10- front 12-rear 3/4 taller than advertised 27 3/4 inches. 4-41/2 pounds of air, more if im mudding. 6-7. as far as top end if i wanna go any faster than 60 ill hop in my car, then again mybe i wont speed limits around here are 55 mph.oh ya if i run 6-7 pounds of air my tires measure 28 1/4. hope this helps grizster.
