I have an oil leak behind my front sprocket WHY? Is this a seal or a bearring? How hard would it be to fix?

I've replaced my seal behind the front sprocket twice. Both time the chain came off and messes it up.It's not hard at all to change.Just remove the front srocket ,take a screwdriver and pop out the old one, then just take a hammer and tap in the new one(easy).

I was wrong. I had heard people talking about a noise like a slipping chain sound in the tranny before it went, I heard it a couple of times, but its still there all stock.

Talk to gary660 I think his went out recently.

edit: never mind I just saw that you did it as I was typing.
