I was thinking of getting these lights. I did a search on here but only came up with one thread....are these things any good? I was looking at the ones that are the handlebar clamp....and I found a set for a great price at the wierdest spot!

They say you can run the stock stator with these (35 watt bulbs). Are they any better than stock? I have heard some are more like flood lights while some are projectors...I think it all depends on what type of bulb you go with.

Thanks in advance!

I got the Trail Techs for my Raptor at Rocky mountain ATV for $119.
They come with 1 spot & 1 flood. It's a good investment. I put 50 watt bulbs in mine & went to Little Sahara, OK & they worked great. I can't say enough good things about these lights!! I don't know the stator output on the Shee but even with the 35 watt lights you'll be very happy with them!

Thanks...I think I will have to get a set. I like the idea that you can turn them around during the day so they don't get damaged and then set them forward at night when you need them. Also...since they are on the handlebar they are projecting where you want to go rather than having them face forward all of the time.

Are they special bulbs or can you get them anywhere?

They are special bulbs, they have the bulb, lens & reflectors as a 1 piece unit. I got my 50 watt bulbs at Rocky Mountain ATV, They also have 75 watt bulbs if your stator can handle them.

Thanks redrocker and THEMOOSE! It sounds like these lights are a good product. I am surprised that more people don't have them. I could offset the cost by selling my originals on ebay.

I have to chime in on this one. I purchased my Trail Techs At Rocky Mount. as well. This is the best improvement per dollar I have made to my Raptor. I have the 35 flood and 35 spot they are so much brighter than stock its unreal. Compare them price wise to laser stars and you can't help but get them, they are just as bright as well. I also have to say that Rocky Mountain is a great co. to deal with. Just like their add says small enough to care and big enough to have what you want.

If you have a look at the Trail Tech site, the raptor lights are 50 watts. The early kits used 35 watt lights. The stock Raptor Stator can handle the 50 watt lights with no problem. The Home Depot lights are low quality. With these lights, you get what you pay for - cheap lights are not as bright and do not last as long.
