Why don't all you guys with these kits spend $50 & dyno them yourselves? You've already spent thousands of dollars on the kits so bite the bullet & dyno them too. I'd be willing to bet a lot of you have already done this & are sitting on the numbers!!

Post the results with all the mods you have & who did them. I did that when I put on my sparks pipe & I spent a lot less than you guys did for a engine kit.

I'll start with mine. I put on a Complete Sparks X6 with stainless header & spark arrestor. It was on an automotive Dynojet dyno & was the only quad he had ever done. I have 5~1" univents installed & left the lid on with the stock air filter, & was running 148~150 Dynojets.
Peak HP 41.3 @ 6400 RPM's
Peak torque 36.2 @4900 RPM's
Yea I was dissapointed but I had less than 20 hours on my 02 Raptor, it was an automotive dyno, he'd never done a quad before, I hadn't adjusted my valves yet, I was running slightly rich (13.1 A/F ratio). Now that it's broke in & I've rejetted (I'm running much better 100 yard times now than I was after my first dyno 6.187 last race VS 6.508 on my first race) I'm going to try it again & I'll post those numbers also.

Then all you guys tell us any problems you've had with your kits & how long you've had them & how hard & how often you ride them.

Lets eliminate the builders from this equasion & post the dyno charts ourselves & answer some of these questions.

Airraptor I see what you are saying and I do agree. I was also talking about complete kits v. a stock machine. This would also take out the confusion out of some of it. Like Moose says I have xxhp, this was his first time and it was on an automotive dyno. If he would have said before the mods I had xxhp on the same dyno we could compare it to someone elses hp as a %. This way we could also compare kits from different companies; ie Trinty makes a 30% gain from stock with a 686, Sparks makes a 25% gain over stock with a 690. It wouldn't matter the number of hp as long as you dynoed the bike before and after the kit. I'm not sure I explained that very well but I tried.

I wish now I had dynoed it stock first. The truth is I didn't care as much about the HP numbers as much as I wanted to know for sure what my air/fuel mix was. Since it's almost impossible to read plugs with pump gas I wanted to be sure I was jetted right when I put on my pipe & wouldnt "burn down" my new Raptor. I was probably a bit parinoid about that since I had melted down my 250R before. It was rich but not so rich to cause problems so I left it that way & waited till it heated up to rejet.

I know all dynos are diffrent as well as temp, operators & a lot of other things but did anyone dyno their Raptor stock? It would at least give a baseline to work off of.
