Check the VIN number. The 10th character should be a 3 if it is a 2003. This logic doesn't work for all years though. They just switched to numbers starting in 2001.

For 1999, the 10th character should be "X"
For 2000, the 10th character should be "Y"
For 2001, the 10th character should be "1", etc...
