As I said before, this has already been gone over. Read here:

This link does not seem to be working, so I bumped the subject up to the top in the Honda forum. Click on the thread titled:

Start your Blaster and let it warm up for several minutes first to warm up the oil in the engine then shut it down and find the bolt on the bottom on the engine. You take it out and the oil comes down out. Put a pan under there and then to fill it up again there is a little bolt with a wing on it on the right side of your engine. Right behind the kickstarter. That is where you put the oil back in.
If you now look, I'm not sure but I believe it's behind the kick starter you will see a glass circle ( it's the size of a quarter ) after you warm up your Blaster shut it down and look at the glass circle, there is a mark on the circle, if the oil level is below the mark add more oil, if the oil level is at or above the mark, DO NOT add any more oil as it will have enough. Congrats you have now changed the oil in your blaster.
Here is a reminder use the Yamaha lube oil it has worked great in my wife's 00 Blaster, and I recomend it.
Any questions about the Blaster Email me..
As for needing a new manual for your Blaster e-mail me and I will give you a number for you to call Yamaha to receive a new manual for free.

On the right side of the Blaster engine, near the spot where the oil goes in, is the amount of oil that should go into the crankcase when changing the oil.
This amount is 650cc's of oil. It probably is listed as 650cm3, which is the same thing.
However, in my Son's Blaster, I put 700cc's of oil at the recommendation of the local Yamaha service department.
The oil I use is Bel-Ray gear saver oil 80w, which is made for two stroke transmissions/wet clutches. Don't let the 80w rating fool you, since this is a viscosity rating for gear oils which is essentially the same as a typical 10w-40 motor oil.
In the past, I have also used Yamalube, but prefer the Bel-Ray.
