I once went through 2 1/2 foot of thick sticky mud on my Wolv. Then of course, [red]I woke up!![/red]

 

Well.. this reminds me of this *little* incident I had with a friend of mine back in 3/6/00. I have a 1993 trx300fw with 26" blackwaters f/r and a superwinch 2000lb and my friend was borrowing my pop's 1996 trx 300. We were doing some rockhounding near the lake in North Georgia. My friend, a novice, was ahead of me and cleared a rock w/ the front tires(which was under the bike at the time I warned him NOT TO GO any FURTHER)... you know what happens... what an airhead! BUT... not what you think.
He tips the quad and jumps off and runs into the lake (I couldn't figure this out) and the quad tumbles as he runs into the 60 degree water and trips into the water. Luckily, the water stops the momentum of the quad. My friend, all the sudden, breaks out of the surface of the water and he looks like a scarecrow after a brief period of heavy downpour. The quad was submerged in waist deep of water and I winched the quad out and towed it back to the garage and did alot of s$#@ to get it working again. (btw there was a spectator sitting on the dock watching the whole thing laughing his *** off).
2 days later... he flips the quad again on a ROCK (I told him to BE CAREFUL) and busted up his ankle... now he started listening to my warnings. He definitely learned his lesson... hehehe

There is a swamp near my house on a pipeline. people always try to go through it with trucks and get stuck.I was on my warrior with bald tires.I hit the first hole and it sunk. The mud went up over my fenders. lucky me i had alot of people with me.

 

When i had my 250x my and my friend got it stuck in 3 feet of mud. Don't ask me what i was thinking when i tried to go through that hole. WE had to have a truck pull me out.

My friend and I were ATVing on his property in southern Mississippi and got down about 1 1/2 mile from his house on a island his folks call goat island a big mud hole well he has a Prarie 400 4X4 and I have a Honda Recon. He went around it and got stuck about 20 foot into the mud hole so I was going to attempt to pull him out but the tow rope I had was only 15 foot long so I backed off goat island into the mud and got the recon stuck. Needless to say it was a long walk to the house to get his friends Big Bear 400 4X4 with tractor tire mud grips and a longer tow rope to pull us both out.

 

Mud Man's post made me remember back when I had my Blaster. I was ripping down a gravel shoreline with my blaster towards a bunch of my buds. I headed into the water @ 20 - 25 mph. The quad basically, STOPPED, and momentum took me right over the bars and head first into the drink.. No injuries, but I do believe my buds guts were quite sore from the endless laughing.

It had to be quite a site...

 

i took my 230 quadsport through mud over the fenders. i could not believe it that it went through so much mud. i barely mad it i was in 4th gear bout the whole way. I was probably only going the speed of 1st gears. it took a while but it made it and i was amazed.
