Who makes a good one? Ricochet? PRM? DG? I was going to get my brother one for his birthday, but I don't know what brands are good, and which ones are not so good. Any suggestions?

I have been looking at plates for mine. I read that ones made of Alum. will dent easy if you hit rocks.
Armordillo makes a plastic one that sounds good. They have a web sight, check it out.

I didn't know yamaha had one. He'd probably prefer having a Yamaha part over aftermarket, and the price sounds good to me. Thanks
