How about not side by side. I can't remember what I have in and heard you shouldn't mix the two,DJ and stock. I have two laying in my jet box but I don't know which ones they are. Is there any other way?

If you lay the two side by side the skinnier looking one at the tip with the more drastic taper will be the dynojet needles. The stock needles also have some numbers on them, i don't believe the dyno needles do.

Also, i can't believe i didn't remeber this. The stock needles have only 5 grooves the dyno needles have 6. It should be easy to tell from that.

dynojet needles are much slimmer than stock which are almost blunt in comparison, it is possible to mix dynojet needles with mikuni jets but its a nightmare getting things "dialed in", the flow characteristics of the dynojet needles are such that you get high flow in the mid throttle range (where most people ride) but if you are pushing the top end you do better with stock needles and large mikuni jets
