I heard this was and issue with DMC pipes. That they were breaking the mounting studs on the headpipes. Has this problem been corrected by DMC does anyone know? Or do you still need to alter these when you purchase?

Call DMC(advantage performance) and they will fix you pipe under warranty. The problem is with the aluminum flanges, they heat up and fatigue. Eventually they will snap your header studs. DMC will install steel flanges under warranty, the only problem is that they told me 2 weeks and it took almost 2 month's! You can do it yourself, but you have to have a TIG because of the heat shield mounts on the one header pipe. Good luck.
