When I ride in the rain, and I touch my clutch or front brake, or kill switch I get shocked, I just got in from riding in the rain, im soaked, and shocked all over. The thunder&lightening are so intense that it scares you and sends shivers down your back.

Do you get shocked?

I get shocked everytime I read a Mine's faster than yours post.

You will need to start checking all of your connectins.

Is it a shock like from the spark? or is it a constant tingle?

When your getting shocked does the bike run funny like it's missing? If so check your coil to spark plug wires for cracks or cuts.

If it's constant, start checking all of your control connections until you find where the problem is. An Ohm meter might help.

It sounds to me that you have a short somewhere on your handlebars. With some patients you should be able to track it down. Have you done any changes to your components on your bars? I changed the clamp on mine and pinched a wire and came up with all kinds of problems.

Hmmm could it be static electricity shock? Maybe if you move your a$$ too much on the seat, and then touch your clutch or brake lever it shocks you. Maybe the rain amplifies this. Just a idea.

I got shocked once too while riding my Mojave last year. I could never figure out why, but a week later I lost spark.

I assume this problem is on your KE

You are having problems with the kill button on the handlebars. Check to be sure that the hot wire is not rubbing the handlebars and that there are no bare connections that are close to the handlebars. I've seen this on many dirtbikes, as the hot wire is almost touching the bars when it is functioning properly. You can get a new kill switch assembly from your local dealer for about 10 bucks if your's is beyond repair.
