Yellow Grizz

 

Didn't know they made a Yellow Grizz like that. It looks great!!!!

 

yeah i posted about a yellow grizz last week. my frind said he saw one, i still think he saw a vinson . where would one buy yellow plastic, is it a custom job or a new color from yamaha. i think it looks too much like a suzuki.

 

Here’s the details on the Yellow Grizz.

It started life as a Silver Limited Edition. Like all of them the Silver showed every little mark and without the overfenders (fender flares) the sides really took a beating. The Silver is single step paint and the plastic was never prepped right before it was put on. Since I wanted to freshen it back up like new I wanted something different. I’m glad it’s a paint-able quad.

For anyone doing this I would recommend taking the plastic to a good body shop that’s used to painting plastics.

I have done some good mudding and tight trail riding with no marks in the paint. The flares are scratched up a bit but their doing the job.

The color is 2002 Kawasaki Ninja “Pearl Chrome Yellow” with 4 coats of clear.

(The tank decals and warning labels were replaced with new to keep the factory look. Poor taping job never looks good.)
