Look guys I didn't start this topic to hear everyone wine about this and that I just wanted to know what you guys thought of the new Z-400. I mean it seems pretty impressive for a 400. You would think with all this competition Yamaha would get off their *** and make a 400 or some type to keep with the 400EX and the Z400. I know that you guys will wine why go lower when they have already built a 660 well for racing purposes. Isn't a 440 limit on ATVs in racing in the pros.

king,because in the power world 4-stroke stock for stock it IS!
Don't give me that BS "Oh it's only 400ccs against 660ccs"
It's the top sport quad from each manufactuer no matter the ccs.
If this wasn't true,dales and raptors wouldn't be compared.
People always come up with that "Oh its only 400ccs" when they get beat.
Do you see any Raptor owners going around saying "Well it's not fair the dale has fuel injection and its made in America and its color comes in silver"?

Actually stock vs. stock, the Dale is faster than the Raptor. And uh... actually I have heard, "Well, if you make the Raptor fuel injected and put a high compression piston in it, the Raptor will stomp the Dale." so I think that would be about the same.
Everyone has excuses when they lose (except for me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] hehe, just kidding) but I agree that it is stupid when people will always try to "beat up" the little guy but then starts crying when they get beat buy someone else.
Oh and stock Dale vs. piped Dale is a close race. As much as the outcome of a stock vs. piped race is argued, it must be close. I am one of the one that argues that a piped Raptor is not faster than a stock Dale, but that is only because I have never been beat by one. Once I see one get beat (multiple times) or when I get beat, I'll sing a different song, but that day has yet to come. Maybe 14min. and some of the others will prove me wrong on June 29th.
