Kodiak......ITP Delta steel wheel
#1
Hi all
I've just got my new Bear Claws for my '01 Kodiak. I went with 26x9-12 frt and 26x12-12 rr. I'm just wondering if I should buy new wheels or mount them on the stock ones. I've got a few dings in the stock wheels, but nothing serious. It would be nice to have a spare set of tires/wheels, but don't know about the added cost.
I have priced some ITP "Delta" 12x7 steel wheels. Fairly reasonable, but without seeing them on a Kodiak I'm wondering about them being the proper offset. The part numbers listed for the Kodiak and are 2/5 and 5/2 offset....appears to be good for the Kodiak.
Have any of you mounted the Delta wheels on a Kodaik Ultramatic? Do they stick out more than the stock wheels and tires?
Also, has anyone installed the Yamaha accessory fender extensions? What's your opinion on them?
Thanks
