Today I put on the Pingry oil tank and got it done. so I fired up the bike and let it idling to make sure no oil leak.
I happen to hear some rattle sound, when I blip the throttle the sound goes away for short period time then it come back in few moment after the rpm come down. The rattle sound come and go like a mind of it own.
Would this be the camchain tensioner doing it?

To let you know the bike is going to shop soon to replace the gears of 2nd and 3rd change to Fortin gears set. The 2nd went out a few weeks ago. Still rideable.

Does anybody have an idea what the rattle sound might be?

Thanks..... Bill

Check your exhaust closely especially if you have a spark arrestor in it. I asked the same question a few months back and someone responded. Sure enough that was where the sound was coming from. A quick check is to put your hand over the back of your exhaust (with a glove on) and see if the noise goes away. If so, I would bet it is your exhaust.

It wouldn't be the pipe since I don't have the spark arrestor at all.

At least I will be checking out on either on Sat or Sun.
A friend of mine mention to me something about the gear box area that might be loose?
Just asking.....
