Suggestions on accessing and removing studs in difficult spot?!
#1
On the engine of my warrior there are two studs coming out that the head exhaust pipe is mounted on and has two nuts holding it against the engine and studs. One of the studs broke off and that stud is practically directly in front of one of the frame's tubes. Does anybody have any suggestion on how to access it with a drill and ez out so it can be removed and fixed without taking apart the engine. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Well, that depends on how good you are at turning a wrench..LOL[I'm not saying you don't]
If you aren't pushing for time, you could remove it and while you've got it out, it would be a great time for a spring cleaning and maybe even a little painting.
When we do this, sometimes it's only a matter of minutes, and then sometimes we fool with it for hours before deciding that we need to carry it to a MORE REPUTABLE welder instead.....LOL
I would just load up the quad and carry it to a welder and see what he thinks about it....then go from there.

well the reason i was askin this is because i brought it to my mechanic and he mentioned having to take the whole thing off if the couldnt get to the stud with an EZ. I just remembered that he does weld. Not that he is a bad welder, but this is something easy to do regardless, correct? Do u think i should give him a call tomorrow and run the idea past him. Not only dont i feel like having my engined openened up, but if it consumed less time, its cheaper for me and thats a good thing! lol. Thanks again.
