Water in Belt compartment

Hey gang.
I got water in the belt compartment last weekend and was wondering if there is a drain plug somewhere that I didn't see. I ended up taking the cover off and draining it that way. Was there an easier way? I couldn't find the drain plug if it was there. If I would have stood the atv on the rear rack would the water have come out?
Any pointers for future reference? Except for not driving in water. :-)

I know on the griz there is a small "SMALL" drain plug on the right side of the bike just under the housing. It just has an o-ring on it and pulls out. If you didnt know what was, you wouldnt have guessed. I think your bike is setup the same way...take a look and let us know. I will ask around too.

Just called the dealer and he said: Underside through the skidplate, use either a 6 or 7 mm allen. He said the best way is to use an allen that is on a socket wrench.
THERE YA GO!
