I was supposed to have my red/black warrior by last friday, then by this friday, but I called and only the blue ones came in so now he said by next Friday at the latest. Are the red/black ones supposed to be limited or something? I just can't wait to get the thing so I can go riding

Be patient. When you get it, dont get so pumped up, you gotta slowly break it in first. then go nuts. Why did you get a 03 warrior? Why didnt you get a 03 raptor? or even a 400ex?

Just heard good things about Yamaha and I have a hook up at a dealer so I got a great deal on everything. There is no Honda dealers near by cept if I went to Staten Island which is a PAIN, and the Raptor was too much power for me since Im just learning and I dont like the way they feel when u sit on them. Seems like a high center of gravity. Small wheelbase too. I have seen a lot of them come back for repairs and they are a lot more expensive also.

You will like your Warrior. I really like my 02 that I have had for a little over a month now. Nice and smooth power for learning but has a good amount to let it rip some. It is not as fast as some of the newer sport machines but has been around a long time and it has more than proven to be a reliable machine over the years. Hard to beat its track record.

I didn't even now you could get the 03 models from Yamaha yet. They must have sold or shipped out all their 02 models. Our dealer has sold a ton of Warriors. When I bought mine they had one blue one upstairs that was serviced but not on the showroom floor, 1 blue one in the crate, 1 white one on the showroom floor that was leaving and 3 other white ones that were serviced and leaving to customers in a day or two. He sold 5 in less than 3 days. They still sell very well even against the new stuff coming out. Yamaha must not be too dumb as the Warrior is probably the best selling sport/trail bike of all time over the years.
