Has anyone found a fare priced set of 12 inch aluminum rims? I love my 00 Kodiak, it is a great quad, but the black rims just don't do the machine justice. ITP has a set but man are they expensive. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

My buddies and I think the black rims look killer, but alum is probably stronger.

Negative on the alloy rims being stronger than steel . I run Douglas Red Labels on my Warrior & stock steel rims on my KQ. I've replaced one Douglas rim that was bent beyond repair, & pounded out many, many, bent bead areas on others due to rocky trails. I'd hate to think how long alloy rims would last on a heavy utility quad if ridden somewhere other than nice smooth jeep roads. BTW, the KQ rims look the same as new except for scratches . You might check prices on chrome plating your stock rims..even if it was more money than alloy ones you wouldn't be replacing them all the time. The primary advantage of alloys, other than cosmetics, Is lower unsprung weight
