I went to the dunes this last weekend and my 2001 warrior puffed blue smoke when it got very hot. Last year I burnt the clutch up and had to replace it. When I changed the oil after changing the clutch, I noticed a lot of debris, probably from the old clutch in the oil filter. I removed the clutch cover and cleaned as much as I could out of the bottom end. This probably has about 100 hours on it.

I am wondering if I need to replace the rings. I am going to test the compression tonight. What should the compression be? Is there a possible problem with the valve seals?

Thanks,

Preston
