KNOWSALOT, Say what you will, but I take a strong stand behind my work and share nothing with anyone.
Ofcourse, it's all about the money. Any business owner would be stupid to put anything else before it.
If you want price estimates for a particular machine let me know, but as I said before, I refuse to answer questions regarding the coating process, how it works in detail, or who my suppliers are. There are very few people in the entire country who do this. I am the only one in the neighboring 3 states that I know of. I plan to keep it this way.
<< CAP'N CRUNCH >>
.....You must be threatened by me to use such obnoxious behavior.
<< Pinto >>
.......That's your ride and not mine.
At ease.

Captian,
Engine coatings have been around for quite a while. If it took you 10 years to figure it out than maybe you need some engineering help, I recommend Scooby. He's worked on his DS650 Turbo, intercooled, alcohol, fuel injected quad for almost two years.
Every Sport show in SoCal for the last 5 years have had this process out to sell. Do the piston Top with X, dry lube the skirts, it still wears off, Do the intake and exhaust ports, do the gears, on and on.
When push comes to shove it's dollar per horse power. What proof do you have that my Piston coated worth almost 300 is worth how much Horsepower.
If you have any questions about coatings or how they are done, search the web for Engine Coatings and start reading. MSN.COM 48,910 pages of people doing it.

Patrick,
You can buy the dry lube stuff from several of the auto aftermarket guys. Summit, PAW, and Eastwood Co. The Sand and Sport show last weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center was a small show and it had four different companies there selling the process. Some secret. LOL
I talked to several of them. It would appear that the closer to stock the motor is the higher the % of improvement is. As you mod the motor and it is working at a higher efficiency than the benifit drops down to 2-3%. If you need that last 2-3% and have the several hundred dollars than what the heck get it.
For a Blaster why spend the money.
