Don't kid yourselves....This is the 80's all over and the new beginning of the end (ala 80's). All manufacturers are going to be gun shy...between this legislation and the Sierra Club, we are in trouble. The great progress that has been made in the last two years on sports quads is going to slow tremendously....this is a crime.

Although i think some rule making is appropriate, like forcing ppl to wear a helmet and protective gear and stuff.

In a free society, cough, cough, It is NOT appropriate to force people to do anything to protect them from themselves. It is not a governments task to remove all risk from life.

Ok, wrong choise of words, not force them, but to pass a law that staits that you NEED to wear a helmet, jast like seatbelts in cars, its beter then limiting atv use to 16 or older, well, jast trying to help.

and i realy dont care wat you think about my country, we fight for our freedom evry day, you try living the 11th of september on a daily basis.

The quote of the day award goes to ryanstones. At least I think I live in a free society. Seems we have some socialist's wanting to make it otherwise. And I can see a law requiring 16 years and younger to wear a helmet but not everyone. I still don't understand why my state has a helmet law for motorcyclist on the roads. It's their melon and should be there choice if they want to protect it or not. More and more of our choices are being taken away from us every day. We don't need protection from ourselves. It should be our choice if we do something that is harmful to ourselves and doesn't involve the lives of others.

As a Firefighter I've seen the what results from not wearing helmets & seatbelts, It's not pretty!
However I do not want to be forced to wear a helmet or a seatbelt, even though I never ride without a helmet or drive without a seatbelt. I do it by choice not because I'm required to.

bombrider, if I rember right you have to run a roll bar on your quad don't you?
To me that is more dangerous than not wearing a helmet! How do you get away from your quad when it starts to crash? Those are the laws we want to stay away from!
Do you also have helmet laws?
I bet you'd have some great riding areas if you didn't have to worry about being blown up.

I also am appreciative of your countrys war on terrorisim, you live with things every day most Americans will never understand!
I thought you guys had a good idea by deporting & bulldozing the homes of the families of homicide bombers!!
I cheered when you guys bombed the homas leader even though everyone was shocked at the civilian deaths.
the way I saw it was they were protecting a criminal & the palistinians don't worry about civilian casualties so F*ck em!!

Sorry to drag politics in to the post!!
