I just want to make sure im making a ok buy. 2003 blaster.

Ive asked this before but I just want to check again.

THe blaster is for my Brother, It will be driven maybe 5 hours a weekend and not during the week.

How long will the engine last. There will be no mods it will be stock using amsoil syntetic and 91 gas minimum. It will also be driven fairly, not hard.

It will not be idled or abused and there will be proper care going into this bike.

So anyone got any good experiances with this engine or bike.

I've got a '90 model blaster and I Ride it pretty hard on trails and some dunes. so far it's held up pretty well. I think that's a perfect bike for what you're wanting. have fun!!

I wish my brother would buy me a quad. He has to put money into his CR and CBR, not me...

But yeah, it should be a great buy for your bro. Unless he is a tall bastard like me, 6 foot 3 and Im only 15. I was going to buy a 98 Blaster until I realized how tall I actually was. I am way to big for that machine and a bit too big for mine as it is. That quad is the best entry level sport quad, and has a short wheelbase for killer wheelies. But I know he couldnt be into that stuff, right?
