Blaster low end mods...
#1
What is the best way to get a lil more low end on the blaster.....the money should be rolling in and before i get my 240 kit,is the vitos(or pro x) piston good for all around power, same with the v-force reed valve???I love the top end power the toomey gives but want a couple mods for a lil more low end before i start gettin buckwild on the blaster!!

A long rod or stroker crank, higher compression, advanceing your ignition.....will all help with low end power. You can also change you gearing (smaller front, larger rear sprocket, or smaller rear tires).

Hey Peltrax how ya been? You can pick up very noticeable bottom end power with a degree key on your flywheel. I did that on two Blasters, and it's inexpensive (get it from Vitos) and didn't cost any top end. One of them did shear though, they are not as strong as stock being offset-ground. I would say just wait for the 240 kit though. Make sure you have it ported and the head mod done to give you 165psi or better. It'll scream!
