My friend has a blaster and his front brakes do not work at all. He has some trouble taking it down big hills because his back wheels just slide and he doesnt go as slow as he wants to. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem because it would be a great help for him. Thanks in advance.

300,
Im going to assume that this is a pre-'03 bike and has the drum brakes. Long story short... they suck.
If they aren't adjusted, there are wingnuts down by the drums on the brakes, you can tighten those ( turn them to the right when you are looking at the bike from the front ) , but it probably needs new shoes. I am on my third set, and they are rapidly going to sh** again.
Try adjusting the brake lever and and the cable down at the drums. No luck with that, pull the wheels and yank the drums apart ( not hard to do ), remove the old brake shoes and buy some more, loosen the cables, put new shoes in and adjust the cables properly and you are set.

remember you need 2 sets of brake shoes...
( i made that mistake once.... go figure )
